Mankind, as it was, is no more - almost seven billion lives pinched out in one brief, intense flare of white hot, devastating fury that shook the Earth to its core. Only a few survived - the resourceful and the ruthless, those who saw the apocalypse as a beginning, not an end - but life in this harsh environment is a constant struggle for survival, where each brave soul must choose their path, or die trying.
